Bonding
The application of tooth colored filling material (composite) to teeth has been a dental technique for many years. Recent advances have increased the strength, durability, and longevity of these restorations.
Bonding material can be molded and shaped to achieve outstanding results including the lightening of teeth, closing spaces between teeth, making teeth appear straighter, and repairing chips and cracks. After polishing, bonding gives the appearance of natural tooth structure.
Tooth Colored Fillings
Until recently, dental patients have been told that repairing teeth with white fillings was just for cosmetic purposes, and white fillings may not be as durable as the metal restorations. Today, using modern technologies such as dental adhesion, resins, lasers, and state-of-art ceramics, the new porcelain restorations are close to rivaling nature in strength, wear, function, and appearance. Sixteen-year studies show that with properly administered techniques, these advanced restorations surpass traditional dentistry. These new materials make it possible to bond teeth back together virtually restoring them back to their original strength. In the majority of circumstances, metal fillings or crowns can be replaced with techniques that are more conservative making it possible to preserve the remaining healthy tooth structure.

Teeth whitening or bleaching is one of the most popular areas of cosmetic dentistry. Several factors can contribute to the darkening of teeth, including the effects of age, certain foods and drinks, smoking, and medications.

The procedure begins with a preparation to isolate your lips and gums. We then apply the special Zoom! gel which is activated by a specially designed light. Teeth typically become at least six to ten shades whiter, and sometimes more. A five minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure. The results are long lasting and only periodic home touch ups are needed to keep smiles brilliantly white. The Zoom! whitening procedure includes a take-home touch-up kit and trays that can be used whenever discoloration is noticed. Whitening can also be done in the privacy of your home. Custom whitening trays and whitening gels create beautiful results. Bleaching is a whitening process that involves placing a bleaching solution in contact with the teeth causing oxidation of stains and subsequent lightening. Dentures
